Faculty Resources

The Graduate Program in Marine Biology resides in the Department of Biology in the School of Sciences and Mathematics at the College of Charleston. The program is run by a director who reports to the Chair of the Department of Biology. The faculty of the program are comprised of the faculty members in the Department of Biology and individuals at other institutions who are qualified and appointed as adjunct faculty to the Department of Biology by the president of the College of Charleston. The adjunct faculty come from a number of institutions including (but not limited to) the Marine Resources Research Institute of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (MRRI), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the National Ocean Services (NOS), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), the Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML), Coastal Carolina University, and the Citadel.
